Eurydice
When and Where
Description
EURYDICE
Written by Sarah Ruhl
Directed by William Dao
“Orpheus was a great musician.
Eurydice was his wife, she died.
Then he played the saddest music.
Even we -
The Stones -
Cried when we heard it.”
Eurydice is a modern, poetic reimagining of the classic greek myth of Orpheus bringing the perspective of Eurydice to the spotlight. Tender and delightful, this play pulls us into a state of introspection. This play dances with the boundlessness of love and gently reminds us of the value of letting go.
