Enrique Briceno

Enrique Briceno was born in Lima, Peru and has been living in Canada for 17 years. He holds an MBA degree from The Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands and a degree in economics from the Pontificia Catholic University of Peru. He brings over two decades of financial and strategic planning expertise. 

His Canadian work experience started at York University, managing the finance of York’s ESL school for international students. In this role, he also worked with partner universities abroad boosting enrollment of international students from Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Mexico, and various South American countries.  

For the past 11 years, Enrique has worked at the Scotiabank corporate office in Toronto within the International Banking Division as a Financial Planning and Analysis controller for countries in South America and the Caribbean. Enrique’s financial expertise includes multi-year forecasting, planning and variance analysis, as well as providing senior executives with concise and insightful analyses of business performance.  

Enrique enjoys meeting new people and is always willing to accept new challenges in life. He is an enthusiastic fan of soccer and is looking forward to the next World Cup tournament which will be held in Canada!
