Biography
Bethany Schaufler-Biback is a MA student at the Centre for Drama, Theatre, and Performance Studies. She is a recent graduate from Queen’s University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Hons., in Drama. Here, her work focused on investigating audience care, accessibility, and affect. She is currently co-authoring an article that examines how audience members negotiate individual and collective affects during live theatre performance. Bethany also works as a theatre practitioner, with particular interest in stage management, accessibility coordination, and technical direction.
