Annie Buckton

Annie Buckton is a master’s student at the University of Toronto’s Centre for Drama, Theatre & Performance Studies. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Performance Creation from York University where she specialized in new play dramaturgy. Annie’s research will investigate and advance a pedagogical approach to dramaturgy. 

In addition to her academic pursuits, Annie is a multidisciplinary artist with a diverse background in music, dance, and visual arts. Her experience in creation, performance, and analysis allows her to explore and integrate the intersections of these disciplines within her academic work.
