Biography

Alisha Grech is a PhD Candidate in the 2020 cohort at the Centre for Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies. Previously, she was a part of the 2019-2020 MA Cohort also at the Centre, completing a thesis in a study of Millennial Feminism(s) and Verbatim performance. She is a graduate of Queen’s University for Drama and Philosophy and Yale Summer Sessions for Theatre Direction. Most recently, she has created and directed Talk To Me: An Engagement with Millennial Women, a digital verbatim piece, that can be found on Instagram (@TTM_WHM). Currently, Alisha resides in Toronto where she continues her interests in analyzing contemporary politics, testimony and culture as performative acts.
