Biography

Rosamund Small is a Canadian playwright who loves to collaborate with other artists and experiment with forms. Her favourite projects include: TomorrowLove and Vitals (both produced by Outside the March Theatre Company), and Sisters (Soulpepper Theatre Company, adapted from the Edith Wharton novel Bunner Sisters).

She has written for Canadian television shows including CBC’s TallBoyz and Kim’s Convenience.

Rosamund has collaborated with choreographer Robert Binet on four dance projects for the National Ballet of Canada, including a presentation at the Guggenheim Museum’s Works in Process in New York City.
Rosamund’s work has been honoured with multiple Dora Mavor Moore Awards and the Nora Epstein National Literary Award. 

Most recently, Rosamund worked as dramaturg/story editor for Sebastien Heins’ immersive video game live performance, No Save Points and for Ali Joy Richardson and Kevin Matthew Wong’s musical The Believers.
Rosamund holds a Master's in Teaching from OISE, where her research focused on creative writing pedagogy. She is an alumni of the Centre for Drama, Theatre & Performance Studies at U of T.
