All the way from Italy, the actresses of the Open Program of the Workcenter of Jerzy Grotowski and Thomas Richards will be with us at the Centre between November 6th and 12th. After the successful residency accomplished in the events of Nostos in 2014, this time we will focus our attention on the work of the brilliant women of this internationally composed performance team.
Felicita Marcelli (Italy), Agnieszka Kazimierska (Poland), Graziele Sena (Brazil), and Pauline Laulhe (France) will join us over fall reading week (STG campus) to offer workshops and performances. Don't miss it!
Encounters is hosted by the Centre for Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies and supported by the Jackman Humanities Institute Program for the Arts, University College, Theatre and Performance Studies (UTSC), English & Drama (UTM), the Department of English, the Emilio Goggio Chair in Italian Studies, the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures, and the Centre for Comparative Literature.
