The Centre for Spectatorship and Audience Research (CSAR) is an interdisciplinary group of scholars, researchers, and artists who meet once per month to discuss and create work that explores the fields of spectatorship and audience research. Our members come from the fields of museum studies, visual art, psychology, education, film, video games, in addition to drama, theatre, and performance studies. We are always open to new members, even if you are unable to attend our regular meetings, and would be happy to hear from you.
We would like to thank the support of the Centre for Drama, Theatre, and Performance Studies at the University of Toronto for their past support, which enabled us to produce keynote addresses from Matt Omasta, Janelle Reinelt, and Helen Freshwater. More information about this year’s activities will be announced soon.
