DRM228H1 Playwriting I

A hands-on study of the craft of dramatic writing. The class examines the basic elements of playwriting such as plot, structure, theme, character, dialogue, setting, with an emphasis on story-making. Attention is given to the development of students own work through written assignments and in-class exercises.  

How to apply

  • Any Drama Major or Drama Specialist who has completed DRM101Y1 can enroll themselves on Acorn into DRM228H1 S (space permitting) 
  • The capacity is 20.

Important notes

  • If admitted into one of the above courses, students must enroll in DRM220Y1 co-requisite during the 2025/26 school year.
